Penrith Roofers is a referral website. We are not the business that climbs the ladder. Work enquired about through this site is carried out by established, licensed and insured local roofing contractors.
When you call (02) 4705 5100 or submit the quote form, your details are passed to a roofing contractor who services your suburb. That contractor inspects the roof, prepares the quote, enters into the contract with you, performs the work and warrants it.
We think you should know that before anyone turns up, which is why it appears in the footer of every page as well as here.
Who you are contracting with
Any agreement for roofing work is between you and the contractor who quotes the job — not with this website. That means:
- The contractor is responsible for the quote, the work, the timeframes and the warranty.
- Licensing, insurance and compliance with NSW Fair Trading requirements are the contractor's responsibility.
- Payment arrangements are made directly with the contractor.
- Any dispute about the work is between you and the contractor.
You are entitled to ask the contractor for their licence details and proof of insurance before work starts, and you should. In NSW, residential building work over the relevant threshold requires a contractor licence, and home building compensation cover applies above a higher threshold. NSW Fair Trading publishes the current figures and a public licence check.
